Our Mission
TO CREATE A CHRIST-CENTERED CAMPUS FOR INTERGENERATIONAL GROWTH & LEARNING BY EQUIPPING THE YOUNG AND ENGAGING THE AGING
Why Intergenerational Ministry?
Intergenerational ministry/education is designed to intentionally include and prioritize the beneficial relationship between older and younger generations.
Shared care for both young and old lightens the load for families, both financially & relationally
Increased sense of belonging, self-esteeem, and well being in older adults
More advanced motor & cognitive skills in children, as well as greater social & emotional competencies than their non-intergenerational peers

OUR GOAL
For the Aging.
We will work to reduce loneliness, increase cognitive, physical, and emotional health, and enhance a sense of purpose by providing opportunities to invest in the lives of the young through intentional play & educational activities.
We love our SAGES - Classroom volunteers assisting the lead teachers in lessons and activities throughout the week. We have senior adults volunteers who come two days a week, and some who are able to come a half-day each week. Let us know what works for your schedule!
OUR GOAL
For the Young.
We will encourage intergenerational connectedness, fostering honor and empathy through engagement with senior adults in early childhood education.
Weekly Schedule:
Monday-Thursday from 8am-3pm. We will follow a basic school year schedule with a shortened summer program.
Activities with Volunteers:

OUR GOAL
For the Community.
We will offer families affordable care for their children in a unique, Christ-centered setting geared toward intergenerational connection and excellence in education. We will provide employment & volunteer opportunities across the age spectrum.
